ReplyDeleteYou will miss your local op shops if you move away, Zara! The prices are enviably cheap. Despite the abundance of Op shops in my region, the pickings have been very slim in recent months. Vintage cotton sheets, Pyrex, Johnson have not been seen since Summer.
ReplyDeleteThose quality brand woollen jumpers were a huge bargain. I still have a Slade jumper I bought in 1970 (not kidding!), it has never "pilled" and still looks good, unlike ALL I have bought new in recent years.
