stills: woollen blankets & bird watching









1. op-shopped blackboard scoreboard
2. one little nasturtium plant sheltered from the frost continues to bloom
3. evenings see the lounge being unfolded, snuggling under plenty of woollen layers to watch tellie
4. pretty feathers from the chooks
5. & 6. the cats have taken to climbing the apple tree for a spot of afternoon bird watching
7. chard, beetroot leaves, silver beet and spring onions for pie tonight

  1. I thought I would hate the cold winters in the country but I'm actually enjoying it so far. Love snuggling under our thrifted wool and mohair Onkaparinga rugs on the lounge. I'm cooking up a wonderful chicken and vege soup in the slow cooker and we've been for a 2 hour walk up and around the hill here.

  5. Today was actually unseasonably warm here today but it is getting chilly now. The scoreboard is great. Those leaves will make a delicious pie I'm sure.

  10. I love your nasturtium Zara. They always take me back to being very small in my beloved Grandma's garden with my cousin, picking the flowers and sucking the sweet nectar from them.
