On The List of things I'd like to achieve in 2012 and beyond, at no. 45 is organising my tea towel collection, this will involve sewing some of them into cushions, market bags, a sewing machine cover, and maybe framing a couple, in order to appreciate their beauty around our new home a whole lot more than being folded and stored in a suitcase, although it is a sweet vintage case.

ReplyDeleteHoly tea towel, Zara! That yellow tables cape, blue floral and orange and pink floral just speak cushion to me. What a collection. You could make a quilt with that loy.

ReplyDeleteI have spent the afternoon cutting up some of my Australian tea towel collection. I am making bunting for Australia day and hopefully if time permits, a few cushions too:)
