back to my usual days of work so that means back to my usual op-shopping adventures. these 10 little tea towels were waiting all stacked together. they don't even appear to have been used and at only 50c each how could I not bring them home. perfect for more cushions. and with my final assignment nearly finished i'll be able to enjoy guilt-free sewing time again. and reading, baking, water colouring and gardening too.

Wow Zara...great finds especially the 1977 :) I rarely see tea towels in my op shop wandering, maybe I am looking in the wrong places!? Enjoy your creative moments!
ReplyDeleteGreat score - I love them all... :)

Squeal! 10? Cue more squealing....xx
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOODNESS!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your final paper! Bring on the craft time :)
ReplyDeletemust have been a back of the drawer stash, and couldn't have been snapped up by a more appropriate person (ok, except Kylie!). I love the one with the flowers the most, but they all have something appealing about them. great to have you linking in x
ReplyDeleteI just love all those floral towels...especially that purple...so pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove these Zara! And I see I was born on a Monday! I didn't know that off the top of my head :-) Good luck with finishing your final assignment, guilt-free sewing will be a lovely reward x
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the one with the wildflowers...
ReplyDeleteOMG Zara, you just want to make me jealous, don't you?!
ReplyDelete(I bet you thought of my reaction when you found them...)
It has been ages since I've found a lovely vintage t towel - you've rekindled the passion, I'm officially on the hunt again. I love the pink poinsettia, the birdies, the first one, the purple one (and I don't even like purple!) and of course all those lovely Aussies - some of them are NEARLY as old as ME! Heck Missy, I love them ALL!
Oh what a score!!! And a bargain! Love those first few especially. So unusual. Can't wait to see what you turn them into:) x
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, what a find. Those colours are truly just what I needed to see, and that yellow striped floral number is just the bees knees! mel x
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun collection to come across. Happy sewing :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Gorgeous finds! Unused - Hooray.
ReplyDeleteHow do you do it! Some of the op shops in my area are now pricing things more expensive than antique shops. 50 cent anything is impossible to find.
Third one down is my favourite:)
Oh wow all beautiful and they could not have been discovered by anyone lovelier. Fab price too! I just picked up a couple of pricey ones at the swap meet.
ReplyDeleteHoly hell, the third and fifth ones are amazing! I would definitely wear them as dresses.
ReplyDeleteWowzers!!! What a great pile that must have been to find.. I can imagine!
ReplyDeletewowzers!!...t towel heaven!!.....I know the thrill you would have felt!! hehe score! Al x
