op-shop rummage










a lovely little church op-shop that opens one day a week saw us come home with a suitcase full of treasures all for a total of $5. and after rummaging through all the little rooms filled with boxes and cluttered shelves.. a lovely little morning tea with homemade slice and cake.

  1. Wonderful finds! They look like Crown Lynn plates? I love vintage suitcases, I use them in the lounge and my boys room for storage. x

  5. Goodness me, what a find! Never seen milk glass quite like that and never seen that particular little golden book either. Our LGB's are getting quite a work out now I moved them into the hallway down low so the kids can choose and rearrange themselves. mel x

  7. i really love the photo of the two milk glass beakers you took, it should be printed and framed, beautiful. and tea and cakes improves everything, bookshops, bad days, you name it, so it goes without saying that it civilises op-shopping too!

  12. What a lovely day you've had, Zara. Those Johnson patterns are beautiful, a few new ones to me. Your milk glass finds are so prolific - it has virtually dried up down this way, as have the LGBs, although the Op shops are bursting at the seams this week with all things wonderful.
