Thrifted Goodness

As thrifting has been minimal this past week, here are a few treasures found and collected a while ago.

This pottery Bilby dish, 'Handcrafted in South Australia' by Jill. And pottery vase, 'Gulson, Goulburn' by MD. $1 each. With Freesias from the garden.

Kitchen utensil collection

'BatterWhip, Curved to fit the Bowl'

And a few more.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  1. Your kitchen utensil collection is wonderful Zara...just lovely...they don't make them like that anymore (mores the pity) x

  2. Those utensils are so pretty, the quailty must be great if they have lasted this long!

    E :)

  3. What was it that I was saying about bone-handled cutlery? :)
These pieces are gorgeous and a nice addition to your collection.

  4. These are fascinating - I remember a few things like this that my Nan used while I was tiny :-)

    Jem xXx

  5. What a lovely utensil collection! The Freesias are so pretty and look wonderful in that vase.

  6. I just got a real sense of nostalgia looking at your utensil collection - love those wooden handles!

  7. I grew up with the bone handled cutlery. We had to stop ourselves from putting them in the dishwasher, so they didn't move with the times.. I kept a couple for buttering bread, they are the best!

  8. what a sweet little bilby, I love him.

  9. Great utensil collection! Love the colorful handles!
