Well I thought I'd start a (hopefully) weekly post on my growing collection of collections.

This collection started about a year ago, all Op-shop finds, and is stored in a few cake tins. Mainly consisting of forks and spoons, with knives proving more difficult to come by.

So many different and beautiful designs. I guess I better get back to the all that polishing.

  1. Zara what a lovely collection, and so much prettier than the more modern counterparts. I have been collecting bone handled knives for a few years now but they seem to be few and far between.

  2. Love your colletion I only have a few foprks and spoons They are getting pricey now too.

  3. I have a few if the very last one, I'm not sure what he is called, the monk? fabulous collection! Are they all ready for a tea party?

  4. WOW! what gorgeous photos - i had to pin a couple of them!. I especially love the really long photo of all the handles. i think it'd look great framed in my kitchen :) :)

your blog is adorable, thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment on mine. i love 'meeting' my readers.
