op-shopped: bark cloth and a bird tin






my first bark cloth buy, a pair of curtains. hopefully enough fabric to become a dress. if not a skirt
$2 milk glass from the markets
pastel Johnson of Australia
more bone handled knives for the collection
the sweetest Willow tin

joining in with Max and the op-shop show-off.

  12. That tin is lovely and the knives take me straight back to my grandparents house. The fabric is gorgeous, but Im hearing bark cloth alot and dont really know what it is!

    1. Yes I didn't really realise what bark cloth was until recently. It's like a thick cotton fabric with a rough texture, I guess resembling the feel of tree bark.
      It was commonly used as a curtain or upholstery fabric.
