stills: painting, reading, freezing









1. trying my hand at a bit of watercolour painting
2. like grandma used to make. borrowed from the library and now added to my wish list
3. homemade bread rolls for mini burgers
4. the girls are growing
5. and they have discovered how tasty vegie seedlings are so the picket fence went up around the vegie beds
6. cool mornings here, frozen water dishes and all

  5. I always feel like I'm popping in visiting an old friend when I'm reading your blog Zara. I love your watercolour. It would look beautiful on the wall. My mum dabbles in watercolour from time to time and it's something I have on my "one day" list to try.

  13. What a beautiful watercolour, you multi-talented girl, you! I love it.
    The "girls" ARE growing, aren't they. I love their fancy collars. So sweet.
    We, too, have had a taste of winter with a decent frost last week, and some frozen bird-baths around the garden. We are heading to Orange next week, no doubt I'll be uttering a few extra Brrrs once we get there. Will check out the Oppys while I'm there ;)

  14. Lovely painting, well done, I'd be very happy with that.
    Cheeky chickens, mine have discovered my lettuce seedlings. I had them sprouting in an old wash basket which I raised of the ground thinking they'd be safe. Ha! They were selective thou, they nibbled on the green and left the red. Cheeky chickens.
