true autumn weather has well and truly arrived. the wind gusts bring with them a chill. the heater is on come 5pm. woollen blankets lay at the end of the bed ready to pull up of a night. and the baking has begun- vegetable stews and pasties, bread rolls and hot pizzas.. cold weather comfort foods.
what do you like best about autumn?
Oh Zara that painting is gorgeous and then I scrolled down to the tray! Love them both, I think some of your best finds ( that's me the colour lover!) Will keep my eyes out for a milk glass cake stand for you but I have never seen one in an oppie - mine came from my MIL's hoarded stash. Autumn weather in Brisbane is blue skied perfection, this is the best week of sunshine we have had in months. mel x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photographs Zara, I love the colourful pattern of the tin, and the artwork is so pretty, $1? what a find x
ReplyDeleteLovr the artwork and tray, I would have snapped them up to. Loving this cooler weather and we have had some much needed rain over the weekend, looking forward to planting up my vege garden. I've been in the kitchen alot more too. Lots of comfort food cooking xo
ReplyDeleteThat pretty artwork cost $1? Priceless, in my opinion. Love the tray too, takes me back in time to the psychodelic sixties!
ReplyDeleteWe've also had a touch of frost down on the border the past two mornings, and light falls on snow "up the hill" from here. Our log fire will be burning 24 hrs/day by May 1, methinks.
I love EVERYTHING about Autumn, my favourite season of all.
