  1. My goodness, a rush of recognition and memory swept over me as I scrolled down this page.Books that were mine that haven't been seen for 30 plus years like Busy Timmy, Hansel and Gretel and that lovely, lovely Where did the baby go. I still have my copy of We like Kindy and Liongirl loved it as much as me when she was three, we just found the birds one recently too. Your collection is spectacular, your children to come will love it. mel x

  2. Oh Zara, you've got so many of Eloise's! And they are all so beautiful. Some I've never seen before.

So, just wondering, how many LGBs have you got all up?

  4. We love LGB's in our house. I always buy them when I'm out and about in the op shops. I recognise so many of them from when I was growing up. xo

  5. How I love LGBs and the warm memories of my happy childhood full of daydreams. Eloise Wilkin was one of my favourite illustrators too, along with Margaret Wise Brown who illustrated my personal favourite LGB, "Mister Dog, the dog who belonged to himself"

  9. Wow, that's a lovely collection Zara...Some I have never seen before. Hey I came across some lovely Johnson today at Vinnies, I thought of you as I purchased them!!! If you still lived in Orange I would have dropped them off at your doorstep but since you've moved I guess I'll just have to find a nice spot for them on my dresser! :) xo

  10. Those are all still so perfect. I have a lot of them here for the youngest now in varying stages of tattifying. They will always make little children happen and grown women, mushy.
