Simple paper crafting.

There's nothing like three days off in a row to get some crafting happening.
Something simple and easy with very quick results was on the cards...

with a thrifted 20c book that had seen better days

plus some shipping tags

I got to work cutting and sticking

Next in the creative space department is more bunting, baby bibs and maybe a dress for the already warmer Spring weather- all of which I hope to make a start on before the 5am alarm come Sunday morning.

What are you crafting, sewing, making or creating at the moment?

More creative spaces, here.

  2. What a lovely pile of pics- are these for your cushion business empire? Perhaps an easy shop coming? Not much crafting over here but some good op shopping. mel x

  4. Very cute! My crafting at the moment is always of the 2 year old little girl variety. Clouds rainbows and butterflies....her favorite medium being crayon of course!

  8. Ooh! They look great. I bought some old kids books yesterday with the intension to craft with them. So much nicer to have handmade cards than pay $5.00 for one. I'd rather put that money into the present.

  9. Love your tags Zara, just LOVE them.
    Clever!
Crafting this week for me will be Bibs! Laura has started on Solids and I can't wait to get some vintage love spread across her chest!
Might also be making some vintage tags too.... there just great! xo

I went to Carcoar last week for the first time, Have you been there it is just past Millthorpe, Blaney, Just gorgeous, not a lot there but the bestest little vintage shops I've ever seen. If you haven't been there then I suggest you go ASAP.
Would love to pass you on some friendship bread too, I'm on my second batch now, I will save you some sourdough... :)

  11. I'm loving those swing tags, Zara; the sweet pictures gave me a wave of nostalgia.

The only crafting I've been doing in recent weeks has been sharing some broken crayons and a colouring-in book with 3 year old grandson who paid another visit from your part of the world.
