My favourite piece would have to be this kitchen dresser..finally a place to store and display the ever growing crockery collection. There was a bit of competition in the bidding for this one, but the fiance was determined, and so the final bid was ours..Yipee.
The top glass section currently holds the pastel coloured crockery, mainly Johnson pieces. It's lovely to see and admire the collection every time you walk through the kitchen.
It's rather cold and wet here today, so a spot of sewing is in order, there's also overripe bananas waiting to be turned into cake, and bags to be packed for a week of New Graduate orientation at Dubbo... I better get to it.

ReplyDeleteSuperb kitchen dresser, Zara, what a terrific find. Your vintage crockery makes a nice display.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are enjoying those slightly chilly nights.
Oh my goodness, you have got a collection of J Bros there Zara!
ReplyDeleteAttractive china cabinet and some gorgeous dishes. I think it looks amazing! I also have some bananas that need to be taken care of, I'm not as ambitious as you, I will toss mine in the garbage.
ReplyDeleteHi Zara, gorgeous dresser! Don't you love a good clearing sale! I am sure you will love this piece for many years to come. The milk glass collection in your last post look great together too.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your orientation week. Tam x
Love it, well done. I am a bit jealous of your crockery collection there. Sherry :)
ReplyDeleteLove the dresser, great choice. Very much enjoying all your photos recently. LOVEd your milk glass collection, mine is similar and gives me such joy every time I walk past. melx
ReplyDeleteI love the below and blue ware. It reminds me of the home ec rooms the ins had in the country and also in a school I taught in in England. They all thought it was ugly and I was so tempted to replace it with a new setting fro Asda and take it off their hands. The search continues!
ReplyDeleteThat's a gorgeous dresser - I love the timber. Excellent storage for all your wares too!
ReplyDeleteDreamy! I love The colors against the timber. That would make me smile every time I walked past.
