give-away time

a little Autumn give away just for you.
first up a wall pennant. I made this from a vintage cotton sheet with the prettiest leaf design and free-hand stitched the quote. it will come with a dowel and twine for easy display on your wall.
next up a copy of the latest Pip magazine. I somehow managed to find myself with 2 copies so this one is for you. this is an Aussie magazine full of all things permaculture. this issue has informative articles on saving tomato seeds, no-dig gardening, making your own cheese and tips on decluttering your home.

to be in the running simply leave a comment telling me what you love about Autumn.
this little give-away is open internationally.
good luck.

open until April 8, 2015.

  1. As the first day of spring is rapidly approaching here in the US I find thinking about autumn rather funny! But it is my favorite holiday because of the cool nights, the colorful days and the approach of all my favorite holidays. Fascinated by the magazine....

  2. Gorgeous giveaway Zara.
The cool nights are my favourite thing about autumn. It gets dark earlier and there is the promise that wintery weather is on the way.

  3. I love Autumn for the crisp, cool/cold mornings and the still, blue sunshiny days. It's my favourite season, things start to look colourful again after the washed out, dry yellowy orange of summer and the days draw in and I start to think about resting more and being still and sleeping longer. Mmmm yes Autumn you are my favourite time of the year.

    cheers Kate

  6. My most favourite thing about autumn is knitting, knitting and more knitting! And leaves on the ground and home made apple pie. Especially loving the wall pennant.

  11. I like the change in light when autumn rolls around - it gets a little softer, the sun can actually be quite harsh in Tassie (it catches out the tourists quite a bit!)

  12. The slight (well here in the West anyway) chill in the air of Autumn mornings and evenings after a (very!) long and hot Summer is my favourite thing about Autumn Zara. Busting to get out into or garden and well...garden! (another lovely thing about Autumn. Gotta wait until school hols though)
Wish that gorgeous chair was included in your lovely give-away ;) x

  13. I too love the cool change Autumn brings with it. We don't get the striking colour changes where I live but one day I would love to see the change in the trees that reflects Autumn ... a friend lives in Queenstown NZ and always sends such beautiful photos!

  14. I love the switch to soups, stews, curries and roasts. That comforting feeling of a pot of something delicious bubbling away slowly while you keep about your day. Also, much better weather for going to the markets. Beautiful fresh food, the chance to get to know producers, brunch to be had, lots of plants, jewellery, clothes and great coffee. Bliss! :) xx

  15. I love the change in the afternoon light, wearing tights and cardigans again, chilly morning, fluttering leaves falling into piles that you can't resist jumping in, cooking yummy puddings, cuddles and hugs, crotcheted blankets at the ready, long walks, growing winter vegies, more knitting if that is possible ... should I stop?? As you can see, I love autumn!!!
