ReplyDeleteI have a soft spot in my heart for milk glass, the creamer with a the pedestal is sweet. I wonder why I have never thought of changing vintage clip earrings to post backs, what a brilliant idea.
ReplyDeleteI'm madly jealous of the milk glass planter! I collect paste costume jewellery and would love to know how you convert to posts Zara xxx
ReplyDeleteOh Ken Done brings back some memories Zara! In 1989 I was eleven years old and I headed off to boarding school in Adelaide with a brand new Ken Done doona cover! It was pink with a flower design from memory. I thought it was the bees knees.
ReplyDeleteYour milk glass is lovely, so soft and pretty x
All gorgeous.I love the idea of using the milk glass as a planter. very inspired xx
ReplyDeleteYour milk glass is wonderful. I found 1 piece at Christmas and nothing since! I have been playing catch up with your posts, lots of lovely things happening and you looked stunning in your hot pink dress! xo
ReplyDeleteI adore those earrings, Zara!
ReplyDeleteI managed a visit to three Oppies in Orange last week. Only left with a small haul but there was a $5 chair involved! Must update my blog soon! xx
Oh I miss the orange oppies. Hopefully one day I can make a day-trip of it and drive to Orange via Bathurst and visit all the op-shops along the way.

A few of my friends had the Ken Done doona covers in the 80's but I'm sure you were not even born then!!! Loving the blank and white Ken Done. I have added a 5th piece to my little milk glass collection and am currently collecting ceramic pots from the op shops for my succulents, not much else :-) Mel x
ReplyDeleteI'll have to look out for a Ken Done doona cover. I can imagine how bright and colourful they would be. I'm a 1989 baby so just made it into the 80's.
DeleteCeramic pots and succulents are a perfect match.
I want to try macramé and make a pot plant hanger, so I'm on the lookout for a pottery container from the op-shop to use as a planter.
