in the mail box.
plenty of parcels in the mail of late, filled with beautiful goodies.
the always generous Susan of Scribblings from Jumbunna, a fellow op-shopper, sent a box filled with thrifted treasures: Johnson of Australia crockery, a beautiful green floral sheet and a stack of doilies (you know me well).
the vintage sheets for the 2013 vintage sheet FQ swap have started arriving too. i get a little bit excited opening the satchels to see all the pretty florals inside.
so far I have received parcels from Christy (a Christy Production) and Lynette.
Lea of Life, Love and Making Stuff and Tracy of Sunny Corner Farm along with the vintage sheet FQs sent a little gift. thank you ladies.
my purchase from Red Parka Designs arrived today too.
keeping the postie in business I am.
do you love receiving parcels in the mail?
gotten anything lovely lately?
What fun! I tried to give away an automobile trunk full of goodies last May to my family, and they didn't even ask to see what I had to offer. They missed their chance! ;))) Wish you did not live so far away, or I would send you some "goodies." Linda@Wetcreek Blog and Wetcreek Museum Blog
ReplyDeleteNothing nicer than receiving parcels in the mail - you have some lovely goodies there. :-) Would you believe I stumbled across Jennifer's Red Parka stall a few weeks ago at Salamanca Markets here in Tassie and I bought a little Kookaburra print from her. Hope you're enjoying the crochet - it's quite addictive isn't it?! Mel x
ReplyDeleteYour house must resemble a commercial laundry at the moment with all those vintage sheet F.Q.s arriving in the mail, and your own vast collection. I haven't forgotten I'm in the swap too, I bought the mailing satchels today and will post my package no later than next Tuesday! xx

ReplyDeleteOh look at your goodies Zara, just beautiful! I love the little stack of paper bits...seeds, cards and old books.
ReplyDeleteOf course I love a parcel in the mail, just recently a kind blogging friend sent me a custom made tea towel cushion cover featuring my birth year! x
Lovely! I actually have a terrible weakness for receiving things in the mail. I like it more than buying things from the shops! The internet is a dangerous thing for me sometimes ;)
ReplyDeleteReceiving parcels in the mail is one of my most favourite things! Look at all those lush goodies you have. Yay for keeping the postman in business. Melinda x
ReplyDeleteI've really been enjoying your photos lately! Seems like you are putting that camera to good use :)
ReplyDeleteI am queen bee for November in the one online quilting bee I participate in. It's so much fun to recieve the blocks in the mail.
ReplyDeleteI love my mailbox and especially so when there are lovely things inside. Birthday and Christmas are the best of times for letter box goodies. I like sending just as much as receiving because I can imagine the joy it brings to the recipient especially a surprise letter, card or parcel.
